Beginings

Though in shadows we may dwell, the light shall be our guide... “Turning and turning in the widening gyre The falcon cannot hear the falconer; Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere The ceremony of innocence is drowned; The best lack all conviction, while the worst Are full of passionate intensity.” Perhaps I am crazy, perhaps I am so hopelessly disconnected from the common mass of humanity that I can not help but feel despair and anguish at the thought of the future. Unhinged from the ambrosial power of apathy, living deep within the recesses of my own psyche and spirit, I can not be comforted by the prospect of a “normal” life. Power, fame, money, success, a family; none of these things I wish to avoid, much of them I crave like any man, but they have no special appeal, no instinctive pull in the fabric of my existence. Without spirit, without hope, and without purpose they are empt
